Finding Housing

By Nick | Jul 17, 2007

The best place to find housing that I have found so far has been the website WG Gesucht.
This website gives the ability to find housing in almost every German city. They list all kinds of prices and all sorts of move in dates. Through this website I was able to find a room for month at a price of 200 euros. Pretty good deal considering that I am in a nice area and my room is quite large. I have even seen leases on this website that are even only 15 days long. Renting out a room for two weeks is definately cheaper than staying at a hostel for 2 weeks. If you find someone that you can rent underneath (untermieter) then you will probably also not have to pay a security deposit.
