My Personal Experience:

A guy once told me: German girls are like the opposite of Ying and Yang, give a German girl a lot of attention and she won’t like you. Instead give her lots of space, just to the point where she starts to worry about you.

German girls, at least those that I have encountered, like free space. I make the mistake of giving them too much attention and that doesn’t seem to work. You may also find that they stick to their beliefs… Once they have their mind set they won’t change it. Usually they will find Germany just does things better. Make sure you separate the trash into different waste baskets and keep the toilet seat down (and all normal things you should be doing.)

German girls won’t plan to marry you until at least age 28 or 29. Don’t expect them to move in with you until at least a few years after you have been dating. German girls are independent and self sufficient, not really needing a man in their life.

Just make sure you respect her, don’t see her that often and everything should be great .

German men are known as being insensitive, self-serving and cold; of course, that could be the description of men everywhere. By contrast, they are surprisingly sensitive, almost to the point of being completely insecure and unsure of themselves. If a girl comes up to talk to them, they might at first think she wants something from them.

It’s important to remember that many German men live at home for a long time, even after they have done their national service. Don’t expect them to be domestic wonders, nor be surprised when you come home and they’re watching football with a beer in their hands. If you do everything for them, they won’t try to stop you, but if you order them around, show some spunk, they’ll find you even more attractive.
