The Schwarzwalder Kirsch Torte is a a great Cherry desert that originates in the Black Forest. Usually Germans prepare it using Cherry Water with alcohol. Usually you can taste the alcohol within the cake as you eat it, which usually has a surprisingly high alcohol content. Many Germans are also known to drink the Cherry Alcohol while skiing.
