Happy German American Day! Has anyone heard about the new German American Day to be celebrated on October 6?

President George W. Bush and Ambassador Klaus Scharioth both invite citizens to celebrate German-American Day on October 6, 2007, a day to acknowledge the significance of German-American heritage in the United States as well as the deep bonds of friendship between Germany and the United States.
