Watch News In German, Streaming German News

By Nick | Oct 20, 2007

It seems every time I listen to the German news its either about a train strike or their wonderful vacation spots. Does everyone have only one thing in mind, vacation?

Well this post is titled watch news in German and this is exactly what I’m writing about. Everyday about about 5pm I log on to one of the following websites to watch streaming german news. Basically the major german news networks record their daily broadcast and stream it right on the internet.

Tageschau - This is shown throughout the day and equally updated on their website. You watch a new stream of the latest Tageschau (day show) throughout the day at this link. The German here is pretty complicated so you might want to watch it once or twice to understand exactly what they said.

Deutsche Welle - This news network is in almost every language, so if you want to be lazy and not listen to the German version of what is going on in Germany, just listen to their English Video on Demand found here. You can also stream the German News, by clicking on the right and changing the language.
