Germany Luggage Lockers

By Nick | Dec 11, 2007

Whether you realized it or not, a great way to lighten your load while traveling in Germany is to use the luggage lockers that are available in German Railway Stations. For usually just a euro or two, you can hold your baggage in a secure luggage locker.

Why would I use a locker?
1. The main advantage to paying a few euros to hold your luggage is, you don’t have to worry about your bags. Pickpocketers do exist. Why spend the whole day worrying when you can pay a few euros and have your things securely locked.
2. Lighten your load. Why carry around heavy bags the whole day?

Where to look?
These luggage lockers aren’t limited only to Germany. Anywhere in Europe you will find these lockers at the Train Station. Just look for the luggage sign.
