Valentine’s Day in Germany

By Nick | Jan 23, 2008

Valentine’s Day happens the world over on February 14th. In Germany, the tradition of Valentine’s Day is similar to the US. The guy gives the girl flowers. They also give chocolate or roses, much like I’ve grown up to know in the United States.

Of course, many politically correct Germans will tell you, its just a commercial holiday, but commercial holiday or not, it is a great time to tell someone how you feel.

Can’t be with your sweetheart?
Send them flowers via this German online flower delivery service.
GChocolat offers chocolate delivered to Germany ordered from the internet.
