Bad Godesberg is actually just a district in Bonn. Most people here come to see the Godesburg Castle. Suitably, the Bad Godesburg Castle is located on a mountain peak, but there is an easy path to climb to get to the top. I went out here just to get a closer look of the castle that is viewable all the way from Bonn.

To get there, take the train number 16 from the main train station in Bonn towards Bad Godesberg. You will have to get off at the last stop. You will easily be able to see the Bad Godesberg castle from there.

From the top you’ll get a great view of Bonn. Also one of the best places to take pictures.The castle features a hotel as well as a restaurant for an excellent eating and sleeping experience.
