Rostock and Heilige Damm Tourist Attractions

By admin | Feb 21, 2008

When going to Rostock I would recommend a visit to one of the most popular tourist attractions, the St Marein Church. This is a great example of a wonderful Gothic church. Here you’ll also be able to find some wonderful art. I also found the Rahaus (Town Hall) very interesting with its Gothic facade and 7 towers. Its unlike any other rathaus in Germany.

Right around the corner is also the worthwhile Bad Kreuznach which is just a short trip from Rostock. Here there is plenty to see which includes a beautiful cathedral and also the Heiligendamm, a seaside resort where the recent G8 summit was held. The area is nice if you want to enjoy the side or go for a nice boat ride. Rides are offered frequently from the main city area.
