After spending just one day in Frankfurt, I’ve realized just how hard getting wifi internet access in Frankfurt is. I figured Frankfurt is a giant city, Wifi wireless internet will be free and available everywhere. But, unfortunately, this is not at all the case. Luckily I located a few locations where you can get free wifi internet in Frankfurt.
Baguette Company – Kaiser Str. 39 (close to the Bahnhof)
I’m actually sitting in in the Baguette Company getting free wireless wifi internet access. In order to get Wifi, all you have to do is make a purchase. I bought a coke with unlimited refills for 2.50. Though it seems expensive. I’ve been here over an hour and refilled my glass multiple times.
Cafe Celona – Holzgraben 31
This cafe is located near the middle of Frankfurt’s shopping center. You buy a drink and get free internet access (haven’t tried this out yet.)
Stay and Learn Youth Hostel – Kaiser Strasse right by the Bahnhof
You’ll see this youth hostel directly by the Bahnhof. I’d suggest just going up there and trying to connect. They probably don’t even really know all their guests by face. I did actually sleep there once. Not a bad place, just be weary of the many porn shops.
