Germany is Gay Supportive, especially in a few large areas of Germany like Cologne which could be considered the gay capital of Germany.

Gay Cologne and the Ruhr area – Fabulously Pink
I’ve read that almost every tenth inhabitant of Cologne claims to be gay.  That’s quite a number number of gay people in one area if you think about it.  Not only that but Cologne has a lot to be proud about.  They have their own style of beer “Kolsch” a lightly fermented beer.  (Try “Frueh” a very good Cologne variety).

Frankfurt Germany
Though I never cared too much for Frankfurt, some 50,000 gays and lesbians live in and around Frankfurt. Frankfurt, also called Bankfurt, has a cosmopolitan lifestyle, though overall it the gay population is not quite so large like Cologne.

Gay Berlin, Germany
They say that the only cities in Europe with a great gay population is London and Amsterdam.  Berlin is not only the capital of Germany, but a safe haven for many gays.  They have at least 150 gay bars, two free city magazines, sports clubs, same sex dance lessons and studios, and even special clothing stores for gays.
