I wondered about Marijuana laws in Germany since I had often heard about people smoking weed in Germany.  Consider that the Netherlands is right across the border with decriminalized Marijuana laws, making it seem as if it would be easier for Germans to acquire Marijuana.

WeBeHigh.com writes that “The posession of marijuana for personal use in Berlin is tolerated, as long as the amount does not exceed a quantity of 10 grams.” Keep in mind that German is a pretty liberal city in comparison to most of Germany.

Marijuana is much more tolerated overall, but I would avoid smoking weed in public.  German cops are really tough and they don’t tolerate crap, especially from some “auslander”.
