Meetup.com: I joined Meetup.com since they have a way for you to create your own German groups online or there might be a German group already started in your town. This is a great way to find other German Speakers in your town.

The United States has the largest concentration of German speakers outside of Europe; an indication of this presence can be found in the names of such villages and towns as New Leipzig, Munich, Karlsruhe, and Strasburg, North Dakota, and New Braunfels, Texas.

In Canada, there is a large and vibrant community in the city of Kitchener, Ontario. Overall Canada does have a lot of German heritage with a high population of Germans in the biggest cities like Toronto and Montreal.
