Germans Get Cheaper iPhones

By admin | Apr 5, 2008

Germans are getting cheaper iPhones with a price cut for subscribers that brings the 8gb iPhone down to the price of 99 euros per month.  Of course Germans face an incredible cell phone plan of 89 euros per month to get the iPhone for that price.

Still consider that normally the iPhone costs 399 euros in Germany, while in the USA it’s only 399 dollars.  The difference?   $226. Teuer!

It seems like most electronics in Germany get released at a US equivalent price causing me to wonder why aren’t Germans simply importing electronics from the US?  Or maybe they already are…
