Shop24 came up with a somewhat new automated store idea (new to me).  Shop24, a Belgium company, runs a store that has no cashiers, rather it’s self operating 24 hours per day.

Using the Shop24 in Germany, consumers can easily create their own shopping list.  A robotic arm within the machine collects the items and delivers them all in a short 20 seconds.  You can get both fresh and chilled products right from the machine. Of course everything is viewable right from behind the glass.

Finally a 24 hour shopping location besides the gas station? (of course there are always those vending machines inside the train station (if you get really desperate.)
