This is a reply to my articles written about how cold Germans are and exactly why Germans are cold people.

Germans Are Warm People 
One girl wrote in response: “She is cold and calculating just like the Germans.”
…Pardon me? My calculations have shown, that we Germans +-3,14% as warm and spontaneous as the typical American.

My Response 
Warm?  Yes, at the beginning, but as you try to befriend them, they are some of the last people to open up to you.  Of all  the Americans I’ve met almost NONE have any good german friends.  I’ve actually met very few international people living in Germany with any German friends.  As I’ll say again, Germans are cold and calculating.

My response was supported by another comments, Christopher Scholz who said “why germans are so cold… Germany has traditionaly a very busy society and lots of over-qualificated personal, to get a good job u need to look’/act only for urself, otherwise u will end up washing dishes or pick up rubish from the streets.. U could say a priority of all workers are unhappy in their jobs.. german life is just far too much stress..

I’ve often noticed this trend where people overstress themselves out, and are willing to work for practically nothing just to “get ahead”.  In the end, all they end up doing is overworking.

It’s no wonder Germans get so many holiday breaks, they overwork themselves the rest of the time.  My advice, relax, there’s more to life than getting ahead and money…
