Germans call the Saxon Switzerland National Park is one of the most beautiful places in Germany. In the Saxon Switzerland National Park you’ll find all kinds of rock needles, deep gorges, plans, forest, valleys, and plenty of nature. There are even 14,000 climbing routes to which can be climbed.
You’ll find most of this beautiful area located between Leipzig, Dresden, and Chemitz. For a great view of the entire Saxon Switzerland Park, try the Fortress Königstein. Here you’ll get a great view on this fortress built on a high cliff with high rock faces.
With 400 km (250 miles) of hiking paths, 49.9 km (31 miles) of biking paths, and 755 climbing locations, there is plenty to do here.
