I’ve written an article before about dating girls in Germany, found here, but after thinking more about the topic I’ve come up with a few more tidbits of advice for those looking to date german girls or even some european women.
Girls Will Change…
German Girls will be a lot more open when living in the USA. No longer will they have the constraints of society that had been placed on them before while living in Germany. Now they can be open and free. Keep in mind on the same token, when they end up going back to Germany, they most likely will change. Many girls back home and you might not even recognize them.
German girls are independent and self sufficient As they might not need you, it may be best to keep your distance. Focus more on your life and not just her life. Try to keep her wanting more than you want her…
Keep in mind… that people change when living in one country than another! Be prepared for this change and don’t be prepared to change your whole life around until you’re really sure about this person.

How about tips of dating German men?
I think, it’s not really a matter of nationality, how you act concerning relationships. In my experience there are no real differences between “western” societies. It’s more about the girls / boys pesonality. Personally, being German, I live together with a Canadian girlfriend, and i can’t really find any difference to german girls…
But my compliment on this page. Every article i read so far, is pretty true. Good source for getting informed about the little specialties and differences in german culture / living
