Ever heard that the trains are never late in Germany? Well in Germany expect everything to run on time as being punctual is the rule in Germany.

Meetings: If a meeting is set a 7:15 you have to be there exactly at 7:15! As I’m accustomed to not worrying about being a few minutes late, Germans friends of mine didn’t have quite the same opinion! We’d have to run just make sure we weren’t a single minute late!

Job Interviews: Just like normal meetings between friends, you should be on time, maybe even a little early.

Trains: Though they say trains always run on time in Germany, they do come late, but don’t worry most of the time they will let you know. Not only that, but usually the rest of the train system will adjust itself so that most of the time you will catch your next train even if the system is running a bit late.
