Though I’ve written both good and bad about Germany, it is a beautiful country. I recently recieved a comment
“Unfortunately you are wright with a lot of the things you wrote. People are unfriendly, negative and they make their lifes so stressful with all these rules and laws. I really loved how friendly, optimistic and nice people were in America. I always have a cultural shock when i come back from america. I feel langry then and experience my own country in a way i don’t want to. I don’t know why it is like that in Germany and i hope it will change because it is a very beautiful country with a high standard of living. People should stop to be so grumpy and enjoy their lifes.”
Though Germany does have a high standard of living it does not even come close to making the top ten list. In Europe your best bet would be to live in a country like Norway or Switzerland or even better Luxumbourg, but still even though Germany doesn’t quite match these countries in the standard of living or even match the USA, citizens living there are quite well covered. Universal health care and unemployment insurance insure that all it’s citizens enjoy a certain quality of life.
Germany has the Rhein, the beautiful Alps, and of course the lake of Constance and the North Sea, all beautiful locations. Germans should calm down and enjoy their beautiful surroundings. Sure work is necessary, but realize, Germany offers a lot of beauty, take pride in Germany, and realize that though Germans do tend to earn less overall compared by annual income, the standard is much more even than the US which unfornuately does have many citizens unable to afford health insurance.
Germans do have one idea correct, health and education are more important.

ok, this comment –”Germans do have one idea correct, health and education are more important.” , well I suppose it is sort of correct but really, when one looks at the smoking rate in germany, the beer drinking rate and the 2Schwein-eating” rate, that in itself is not really a healthy lifestyle. If schwein cannot be added to breakfast, lunch and dinner along with 5 glasses of beer (not all but most Germans) then they are not truly happy with how their day has gone. So the question here is…. is their high health insurance plan and security developed because they themselves destruct their lives by overeating unhealthy foods and guzzling down barrels of beer plus smoking like chimneys?
