Using Meetup to meet Germans

By admin | May 18, 2008

Though Meetup has been out for sometime, I’ve recently been using it for a great way to meet Germans in Germany.  Meetup has loads of groups you can join to meet people.  Or, if you didn’t find the group you were looking for, start your own (though there are membership fees involved).

Frankfurt, for example, has a group for german as a second language where you can meet fellow germans, or if you are a german, there are plenty of English as a second language groups.

Or lets say you like sewing, they’ve got plenty of groups for that too.  Just about anything you can imagine is over at Meetup.com.

(No I wasn’t paid to write this post :) , I’m just happy with their service.)
