Attractions and Things to do in Cologne Germany

As I’ve been offered an internship in Cologne Germany, today seems like a great time to cover attractions and things to do in Germany, just to remind myself what exactly there is to do in Cologne.

Attraction number 1: the Koelner Dom
This big church can’t be missed.  It’s the largest in Germany and brings a powering force to upon exiting the train.  Try climbing up to the top!  It’s a long flight of stairs.

Attraction number 2: Shopping
Right behind the Dom in Cologne is shopping.  You’ll find your favorite stores, Esprit, New Yorker, everything else right in Cologne.

Attraction number 3: Gestapo Prison
A reminder of the haulocast, an old Natzi prison preserved in its original state.

Attraction number 4? Gay capital of Germany
Yes Koeln is the gay capital of Germany, and if you want to find what gay life in Germany is all about, here would be the place to visit.
