Frankfurt is famous for it’s apple wine, so much so that it has it’s own apfelwein district located in Frankfurt’s Sacsenhausen. The wine is yes basically made from fermented apples and taste quite good.
In the Apfelwein disctrict of Frankfurt’s Sacsenhausen, you’ll find a large assortment of bars and clubs all within one small area. Though most of Frankfurt was burned to the ground, parts of the Sachenhausen area remain. Within this small area you’ll find over two dozen bars.
Just make sure while you are the there to check out the Apple Wine and you’ll find plenty of it!
