Now that I’ve moved to Frankfurt, Germany, I’ve discovered the difference you don’t see as just a tourist. I want to give anyone moving to Frankfurt a bit of advice before moving here.
1. Finding a place for moving into in Frankfurt
I used WgGesucht to find a room before I came. Often than not you can find someone to let you move in right away without meeting them. Or you might just want to search while staying a few days in a Hostel.
2. Where to Find Friends in Frankfurt
I usually try to put up flyers in the Universities for language exchange. I leave my number and say I am an American English Speaker looking to meet with a German to practice languages or just hang out.
3. Look for an English Table
After you might see an advertisement for an English “Stammtish” which usually means a weekly table where English speakers meet.
