Guns in Germany are illegal, thus helping the germany murder rate be extremely low. In fact one blog mentioned his belief that the murder rate in Germany was 6 times lower than that in the USA. That number could be perhaps due to the gun rate, since having a gun is very illegal. Just go to any gun shop and you’ll see that they are all fake. The guns are just fake pellet guns that won’t do much damage.
In the US, there are roughly 17,000 murders a year, of which about 15,000 are committed with firearms.
Among Germany’s 82 million citizens there have been 794 murders in 2005
The difference? About 6 times as much murders in the United States…
