In Germany you might notice that finding souvenirs can be a bit difficult. Souvenirs often seem to be things you can find in your home country thanks to the globalization of goods and ideas. However, there are still some great ideas for souvenirs.
Beer coasters: Whenever I am in a bar in Germany I make sure to save the coasters. I’ve now got coasters of all different kinds of German beers, also make great souvenirs.
Specialty beers: Germany has so many different kinds of beer, ranging from strong, to sweet. Make sure to save some beer as a souvenir.
Candy: Germany is the king of sweets. Make sure to take back marzipan for your jealous friends.
Beer glasses: Everyone needs their own one liter Munich style beer glass. Make sure to bring home other glasses and shot glasses cause your friends will love you!
CooCoo Clock: Bring some German clocks home because, well, it’s pretty famous in Germany!
