If you wanted to find Americans in Germany, it is actually easier than you might think. There are plenty of spots where finding an American to meet is actually pretty easy. Even as I write this post in Frankfurt, I hear plenty of Americans hanging out in Germany.
Hiding Spots for Americans in Germany
1. Starbucks and Coffee houses – Look for an open laptop in a Starbucks or Coffee house.
2. Irish Pubs – Every time I hang out an Irish pub there is usually Americans or at least native English speakers. An Irish pub is a great place to find expats and Americans alike.
3. Tourist Attractions – The Americans who are just visiting Germany or most likely to be found hanging out in Tourist attractions, catching the sites during their trip.
4. Towns with American Army bases – Since the American troops are still in Germany, towns where army bases are located are great places to meet and find Americans. A map of American army bases in Germany is located here. (link)
