By admin | Sep 28, 2009

Germany’s first female leader and conservative Christian Democrat won again her election showing a change in the way Germans are voting.  Now Germany’s Angel Merkel is set to form a center-right coalition. Social Democrats on the other hand were humiliatingly defeated.

This win by Merkel in Germany is also going to influence which way the economy is going to go.  The Denver post wrote that Angela Merkel supports using tax cuts to spur more growth.

“We need growth-oriented policies,” Merkel said. “I think we can implement this growth-oriented policy better and with more determination in a new government” 8.3 percent is the current state of the economy a rate that has actually lowered then when Merkel first  took office.
