Being Gay in Germany means you won’t be that descriminated against. In fact two of German’s biggest cities are gay friendly. Take the case with Cologne and Berlin. Cologne is one of the most gay friendly cities in Europe.
In fact there is even a gay festival supporting openness of the gay community.

Germany’s annual Christopher Street Day parades are part of the international gay and lesbian celebration commemorating the gay movement. There’s also the love parade which is very gay friendly.
