Laws for No Smoking in Germany

By admin | Feb 21, 2010

In Germany there are plenty of no smoking laws. In fact it can be hard to find a place to smoke inside in Germany.

There was a recent update to the German law for no smoking. Smoking will now be allowed in one-room bars and clubs smaller than 75 sq meters where no food is served.

Saarland is the one German state that allows smoking with an exception: smoking is allowed in small bars where the host/owner serves.

So basically if you want to smoke in Germany, better do it outside, unless there is a set aside room for smoking a cigarette.
