One of the best kept secrets in Germany is one of the best beaches known as Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. This is in the north of Germany and has white sand and a great coast line. Keep in mind the fact that Germany’s only real border of ocean water is to the north. If you actually want to swim in the beach at Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, you’ll need to come in the summer as it can get very frigid in the winter.
