If you want to live in Germany than you will need Aufenthaltserlaubnis which is permission to live in Germany. Before you start working and living in Germany, you will need to do a few things first.
If you decide that you are going to stay in Germany for a longer period you must have a registration certificate (Meldeschein). These can be received at the Registry Office (Einwohnermeldeamt) that is responsible for your community or your city neighborhood.
Coming from a non EU country that can be difficult. Those from USA and Canada are going to need to find a work permit known as Arbeitserlaubnis and that comes difficult. Unemployment in Germany is high and they won’t let you in that easily unless you qualify to take a position a Germany couldn’t fill.
