Germany to Bail Out Greece, Germany Aids Greece

By admin | Apr 26, 2010

Though Germans weren’t happy about it, Germany stepped forward to bail out Greece and give them the aid money they needed. Mainly Germany had to do the bailout to keep the Euro afloat, because without out it, this member nation using the Euro threatened to destabilize the Euro.

As was written in the San Francisco Gate: “Germany agreed, after much foot-dragging, to take a part in assisting Greece for the sake of the euro’s stability, but is also insisting Athens first wrap up talks wit the European Union and International Monetary Fund on a plan for austerity measures for the coming years.

Germany does have the largest economy in Germany, and to keep that euro from failing below the dollar what else can they do then bail out Greece?
